Associate Quality Control Specialist

Position Summary:

The Associate Quality Control Specialist (QCS) will work within the Quality Control department to review device history records to ensure documentation is complete and in compliance with specifications, policies, and procedures.  The Associate QCS will complete and file records documenting the final Quality review and release of product.  

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Performing final manufacturing record review and product release activities
  • Reviewing Device History Records to ensure completeness and compliance with specifications and company policies and procedures
  • Recording and reporting non-conformances and hold product in QC Quarantine until resolved
  • Creating certificates of compliance for records that meet final review and release requirements
  • Documenting work related activities and entering work transactions in MRP system
  • Establishing and maintaining an organized filing system
  • Scanning records and verifying scanned document files
  • Filing DHRs in electronic and hard copy formats
  • Participating in continuous improvement activities and implementing changes for improvement as needed
  • Adhering to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies. Ensure Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
  • Representing the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties of Globus

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years’ experience performing file reviews and/or audits
  • Ability to review documentation for accuracy, perform data entry, scan and file documents
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel programs
  • Strong typing skills, analytical skills, and problem-solving techniques
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
