Position Summary: 

Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, the Compliance Associate will collaborate with the Compliance team to fulfill the training, auditing, investigating, government reporting requirements and internal monitoring required by federal, state and international law. This person will be responsible for managing compliance and continued development of Globus’ Corporate Compliance Program. The Compliance Associate will enhance processes and systems as well as assist in structuring programs to ensure the processes are efficient and comply with policies, codes, laws, and regulations impacting business operations.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assist in updating compliance-related company policies and procedures
  • Improve and streamline processes and procedures
  • Conduct compliance auditing and monitoring
  • Investigate compliance related allegations
  • Support ad hoc compliance related projects
  • Support business partners with specific compliance related issues
  • Develop, maintaining and delivering training programs and materials
  • Manage compliance online training process
  • Ensure that employees receive appropriate communications regarding their compliance training assignments
  • Assist in updating compliance training based on current events
  • Identify and communicating compliance risks associated with commercial programs or practices
  • Collect data from in house and field-based employees for federal, state and international law reporting requirements
  • Assist in compliance audits of company policies
  • Develop and improving of compliance-based reports and presentations
  • Support the project-based work of the departments
  • Other duties assigned by Chief Compliance Officer

 In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years related business experience
  • Experience with healthcare compliance
  • Medical device experience is preferred but not required
  • Basic understanding of healthcare laws, regulations and industry codes, preferred but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated leadership and teaching ability
  • Demonstrated project management experience and problem solving as a member of a cross functional team
  • Able to handle multiple projects with varying deadlines and also an ability to adapt quickly to changing demands/needs
  • Strong work ethic, a positive attitude and professional demeanor are critical
  • Demonstrates high ethical standards
  • Excellent written and oral presentation communication skills
  • Superior organization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented and team player capable of working in a deadline dictated environment
