 As a Creative Services team member, the Graphic Designer transforms copy and images into clear, compelling, and creative corporate sales and marketing materials across cross-functional platforms for internal and external audiences. The Graphic Designer exhibits creative, organizational, forward-thinking, and multi-tasking skills to complete multiple projects within the Globus style guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate possesses expert print and digital design skills and is extremely detail oriented, with effective organizational and communication competencies. He or she is a team player who can manage tight, evolving deadlines while efficiently executing a variety of project types quickly and independently.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and create print marketing collateral, including but not limited to flyers, brochures, white papers, sell sheets, surgical guides, large-format graphics, and signage to support multiple product lines and corporate branding strategies with market-segment-specific messaging
  • Develop digital graphics for email, website, and advertising that support company marketing initiatives
  • Work with the Creative Director, Group Managers, and other creative team members to develop and implement design solutions
  • Manage multiple projects with efficiency and reliability under tight time constraints from design through approvals
  • Work with Product Development teams and other supporting business units to convert concepts into effective deliverables
  • Work directly with vendors on final print production of marketing literature
  • Understand Globus’ product lines and how they translate into marketing deliverables
  • Maintain creative project procedures, forms, and archiving

Qualifications

  • BA in graphic design or equivalent
  • 4+ years graphic design experience
  • Portfolio highlighting strong typographic and layout design for a corporate environment with demonstrated understanding of branding and brand-identity guidelines
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, After Effects)
  • Strong experience with HTML and email marketing; familiarity with social media design
  • Demonstrated experience with independent project management as well as team-oriented campaigns
  • General experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Active experience with pre-press and printing processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in a corporate environment
