Position Summary:

 You will be joining Globus Medical, committed to providing innovative technologies and industry-leading clinical support to help surgeons and healthcare providers deliver better care around the globe. Globus has one of the most comprehensive offerings of musculoskeletal procedural solutions and enabling technologies to impact the care continuum. You will be responsible for leading the test team on NPI development for the neuromonitoring business. You are a key player in establishing the test process and best practices to address the business and compliance needs. You will also manage the project master schedule and deliverables following the design control process. 

Essential Functions:

• Implements and monitors structured system testing (manual and automated) strategies/methodologies
• Guides the team on system and sub-system requirement creation & reviews processes to ensure that requirements are actionable, measurable, and testable
•  Works with development to employ test strategies and tactics on assigned projects and ensures full execution of the strategy
• Leads the team on NPI projects, field issue investigation, and design of experiments (DoE)
• Is the owner of master integration plan, schedule, and deliverables
• Drives the process of impact analysis and effort estimates.
• Represents test team in core team meetings.
• Maintains close interaction with cross functional teams and serves as test PoC
• Develops, implements, and maintains test methodologies, test plans, protocols, test scripts, test reports and traceability matrices for design verification
• Analyzes data from testing activities, interprets results in the context of existing testing data, and prepares clear and accurate technical documentation
• Leads the effort of technical design reviews, entry criteria reviews, test execution, test report and other deliverables for formal verification
• Leads the effort of building reusable test case framework to support positive, negative and boundary testing and avoid redundant test case development
• Provides coaching, training, and guidance to minimize procedure errors that may result into corrections and deviations
• Creates defects trends analysis to recognize the weaken areas of code
• Defines and measure key progress indicators on requirement coverage, test case effectiveness, Test execution and defect identification and closure
• Analyzes available data and identifies trends and tracks actual testing progress against the plan and ultimately provides visibility into release readiness and release quality.
• Publishes test metrics
• Project management skills are required, including create/maintain master project plan, be responsible for major system integration schedule and deliverables
• Creates and maintains DHF structure
• Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
• Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role

Qualifications: 

• Self-starter, passionate about surgical procedures and innovation. Demonstrated pattern of self‐awareness and self‐improvements
• Experience working in cross‐functional environment with strong influence and ability to effectively work with various groups within the organization
• Experience running the Agile way of working. Lead the effort of sprint planning, backlog grooming, system demo, etc
• Track record of leading verification effort for NPI projects with multi-disciplinary team in regulated medical device industry. In depth knowledge on verification strategy and deliverables
• Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate technical content to technical and non‐technical stakeholders in all levels of leadership
• Ability to make decisions independently using sound judgement and operate with a high level of autonomy
• Hands on lead. Take ownership and accountability. Being proactive and result driven
• Experience interacting with Health Care Professionals
• Project management skills of setting the goals, tracking and driving progress, publishing metrics and making trade off decisions is required
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related Engineering field
• Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years’ experience; or equivalent experience
• Previous experience leading and coaching a high performing test team
• Experience leading verification effort in medical device industry, regulated by FDA
• Experience managing master project schedule using .mpp. Optimize resource & schedule with multi-disciplinary SMEs
• Experience with complex mechanical design (spine or orthopedics) and/or emerging technologies is a plus
