Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing the strategic marketing and sales training plans for Globus Medical’s Orthopedics division, including Trauma and later expanding into Joint Replacement.  This individual will serve as a partner to the sales and product development business units, guiding message development, promotional efforts, and empowering the sales force. The ideal candidate will have extensive marketing experience and a proven track record for developing downstream marketing programs for companies within the medical device field.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Providing marketing and branding expertise for related market segments primarily within the Trauma and expanding later into the Joint Replacement division
  • Conducting meetings with appropriate stakeholders to gain input necessary to lead marketing/communications strategy development
  • Contributing to and leading key elements of new product introductions 
  • Planning, directing, and creating excellent education and customer engagement tools, programs, events, etc.
  • Executing strategy for continuous growth through internal and external education strategies, as well as surgeon engagement campaigns
  • Collaborating with sales management for the development of sales training and marketing strategy
  • Developing content for the sales team to meet sales and corporate needs
  • Maintaining documentation, providing support, and communicating progress to management for new sales representatives
  • Identifying and leveraging key opinion leaders to provide relevant customer insights to the sales team
  • Adhering to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies. Ensure Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
  • Representing the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties of Globus

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare or related field
  • Minimum of five years of comprehensive hands-on marketing experience
  • Two+ years of Orthopedics experience is highly desirable
  • Proven track record for translating customer insights into successful strategies and tactics
  • Experience in developing and implementing downstream marketing strategies, brand management, and content development
  • Experience with social media marketing strategies is preferred
  • Demonstrated presentation development and delivery skills
  • Experience working closely with sales force is preferred 
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills as well as excellent organization and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high motivation and self-initiative
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
